Hey everyone, how about we try and work together to slow this current outbreak of STDs
Testing is easy, anonymous and can be free.
Mens Sexual Health Clinics like Clinic 16 in Artarmon are geared for men who have sex with men, but will still treat you if you also have sex with women (trans or cis women) Free, anonymous, non judgmental - won't show on your Medicare. They do very thorough testing and will inform you by text if you need to go back for treatment.
Places like Stigma Health offer anonymous testing. You do pay for this. They send a pathology form, you go to a path lab and they draw blood, take urine sample and send it off. The nurse doesn't know what it is for and really doesn't care either. With these companies you can get a report if you want to attend parties etc where this is required.
Your own GP - can be uncomfortable and embarrassing but doctors have seen it all before.
Even if you don't have symptoms you could be carrying an infection and fucking it up for everyone involved. Please don't be an idiot. STIs can have some very serious complications if left untreated.
